1. Definitions
In SLA, following terms shall following meanings:
1.1. “Azure Virtual Machine Service” means the cloud computing service provided by Microsoft that allows the Customer to deploy and manage virtual servers in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
1.2. “Downtime” means the total accumulated time during which the Azure Virtual Machine Service is unavailable for the Customer, excluding Excused Downtime as defined in Section 3 below.

Microsoft agrees provide minimum 99.9% uptime for the Azure Virtual Machine Service, calculated on a monthly basis. In the event of Downtime exceeding this threshold, the Customer is eligible for the remedies set forth in Section 4 below.
3. Exclusions
3.1. Downtime resulting from scheduled maintenance as communicated by Microsoft at least 72 hours in advance shall be excluded from the calculation of uptime for the purposes of this SLA.
3.2. Downtime resulting from factors outside of Microsoft`s reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events, acts of government, or telecommunications network failures, shall be excluded from the calculation of uptime for the purposes of this SLA.
4. Remedies
